Hand brake won't work!!! Replace most of the bits but the brake will not apply. The screw thread which is supposed push piston which apllies the hand brake don't work. Is there a piston which could jam so won't apply the hand brake which is the disc pads.

if you disconnect the cable(s) do they then move (cable assy jamming) can you put pressure on the linkage (Spanner or somthing) & get the brake to partially apply ?

Has the handbrake cable streched ?
