1st Feb 25% tariff on Mexico + Canada, 10% on China

Must admit I'm not sure where Donald's going with these tariff's or what he hopes to gain. Time will tell, in the meantime batten down the hatches.
People have been telling you that from even before he was in position

If the manufacturers move their factories to the USA and Americans have to pay $10,000 more for a new car, will they be happy?

I expected a last minute turnaround/agreement reached or whatever, never underestimate the power of the Donald to surprise, but I really can't see where he's going with this.
He's raising money to give away tax breaks.

By raising prices

You can't make this stuff up. Well you can, and some people think it's great

Are you kidding? They'll have to revert to buying American cars. Poor fecktards.
It's similar to what happened here in the 70's 80's and 90's.

If the cars they make are better (and cheaper) than the imports, then the sales will show and the imports won't sell

BMW, Audi, VW....

I don't blame them. Have you seen some of the American tat out there?

When you consider Europe are big consumers of all things auto, the scarcity of American tat is no surprise.

A 10% tarrif on US cars doesn't help, against the 2.5% charged on European cars.

They'll be paying that much extra with the tariffs.

Could get messy.
