....is?

It came with a Reginox stainless sink & I'm using a classic Swirl mixer tap with a long swan neck spout.

The whole is exactly the same size as the whole where the taps go. I am thinking maybe it goes under the sink between the sink body & the washers to give a bit of strength??

If so, would the washers under the sink go in this order:

Hi

You fit that onto the bottom of the tap before you fit the nut. This will stop the tap and the area its fitted onto the sink from "wobbling/moving" as and when you move the tap during use.
