Looking for a flush valve for a cistern with 2.5" outlet, or a reducer of some kind to allow a normal flush valve to be installed.

Any ideas?

TIA

You sure it’s 2.5”? 2” outlets are available

The hole is 2 1/2"+, the cistern is very old. I think a 2" valve might work with a specialist shaped ruber washer but I haven't found one yet. The one in that link looks like it might work Andy, I'll maybe get it and see, thanks.

Yes lever handle but I could rob the washer and use another 2" valve, it does look to be a different washer in the original lnk than other fluidmasters, at least in screwfix pics. The old valve that came with the cistern is a brass hinged flapper but the seal has turned to dust, might be restorable but it would be better if I could fit new. It's from a salvage yard, client supplied, to go with the existing old WC. I don't normally get involved with this stuff but I've taken this on... I don't have the cistern here but could post photos later. The hole is bigger than 2 1/2", I've test fitted a 2" valve with normal washer and it's not going to work. The last link is to a 1 1/2" valve... way too small. Thanks for the replies.
