I have a 2 gang 2 way switch in my hallway.
One switch controls the light in the hallway.
The other one does not seem to do anything.
Although it looks like it used to be wired to an outside light at the front door.
I want to put back the outside light but can't figure out how to wire it to this switch.
At the back of the swtich are six connections.
On the top labelled L1 L2 and L3 and the same at the bottom but L3 L2 and L1.
There is a three core cable. Black goes to L3 and Red to L2 green/yellow goes to an earth point.
there is an additional core which only has one red cable and this goes to L1.
The lamp I have bought has brown and blue cables and an earth.
So any ideas how to wire this in and be controlled by the un-used switch?
