I want to install a dimmer switch instead of an ordinary 2 way. At the back of original switch I have 2 red 2 black earth and 1 brown from com to com. This switch works hall and landing lights. On my new switch I have 1 box terminal for each switch with L1 L2 and~ on both. Could you please tell me how to wire this new switch and the wiring is totally different to my old switch

the wiring is NOT different, its THE SAME
its the "markings" for the terminals that are slightly differnent.
L1 & L2 are the still there, common is now called squigly line
But i must ask, the existing lights, please tell me they are ordaianiry lamps
