2 lights and 1 double switch

In my living room i have 2 ceiling lights and 1 double switch. 1 switch operates one light and the other 1 is supposed to operate the other, however the second light will only come on if the first is also switched on. Can any one help? Maybe show me a drawing in the wiki to tell me what should be behing the switch?

Nothing on wikii to cover it. Post what wires you have got connected to the switch & how many cables and will see if we can decipher it.

you will probably find a link wire from the behaving switch to the misbehaving switch, move it to the other end of the behaving switch.

The first switch is linking a feed across to the second, so it only works when the first sw is on. This neds altering, but I need piccys.
