need some help/advice guys,i changed the motor on the HCV valve when i stopped getting central heating,got it going again but when the valve is closed there is a leak,it dosent leak when the CH is on,only after its off and the pipes have cooled down.
when I wired the new motor up there is 2 wires coming from the HCV itself,red and brown I think,but on the motor there are 2 red wires coming from it,does it matter which way around they go.
many thanks,i have to keep the CH on all night now so it dosent leak,but keeping it down low.
PS im i right in saying when the CH is off and there is resistance on the little lever that the valve is in the closed position
