hi there,need some advice,my hcv in the bathroom,i changed the motor and had to spin the valve around a bit to get at the little screw and now the valve is leaking.
my question is if I use an adjustable spanner on the bottom nut and the top nut,which way tightens,dont want to go the wrong way and water going everywhere,,by looking at it id say,bottom nut anti clockwaise[back towads me]and top clockwise[away from me]

PS,it only leaks when the CH is off,no leakage when the CH is on,must be something to do with the heat expanding/shrinking the pipes or something
