l thought l had Honeywell 2 port valves but l have these.. Anyone come across these before, can l change the head on these without draining the system. Or if l cannot will Honeywell replace these without altering the pipework.

Just replace the whole valve rather than messing about with putting
new on old stuff. You can get whole 2 port valves from £24 upwards.

Its not clear the orientation but there has been a prolonged leak at some time.

That can cause the electrics in the valve to fail.

The head should always be uppermost.

ACL are now Drayton.

The valve is over 25 years old, so you can't say you haven't had your money's worth.

Drayton valves are good, but most installers think Honeywell are better.

You will have to change the complete valve as the actuator is not replaceable on your valve.

4043H is correct; you probably need the 22mm version.

If you are doing the job yourself, you can get them online from many suppliers and Ebay; just search for Honeywell zone valve.

If you intend using a plumber to install, it's best if he supply the valve as he is then responsible if the valve is faulty.
