Help,
a few nights ago i was laying a floor, and accidently drilled through a copper pipe.
i turned off the water, and thought that would close the system and proceeded to drain the water.
after a few hours i gave up and phoned a plumber. the problem was that i had an old system and that it continually fills from the cistern, so that has to be switched off first.
the plumber left with the system drained as he could do emergency work only.

i then fixed the hole myself, by getting new pipe and using compression joints. the new work is fine and secure and no water is leaking.
i then went and turned on the tap at the cistern, re-filling the system.
i then bled the radiator where the hole was, and after a minute or two water came out. i then checked all the others but none of them needed bleeding.
i then switched on the hot water, and now the problem radiator and one other one don't work. the other 3 rads are fine

i've tried turning the others off to see if that works. i don't think they need balanced as they were fine before and i didn't touch anything other than the bleed valves and the pipe i was fixing. i'm guessing the pump is still fine as it was fine before this problem.
can anyone help ?????
