2 ring ceramic hob

Hello.
I want to put in a 2 ring ceramic electric hob.
This is in a spare room that has ordinary sockets.
There will not be an oven, just the 2 ring hob.
Do these type of hobs have a 'normal' 13 amp plug on them to plug into a socket.

What is the power rating of the hob?
A 13 amp plug could handle a load up to 3KW (3000watts).

If you have a model in mind, have a look at the makers website or ask your dealer if it comes with a plug!
