Hi folks
New poster here.
I bought a 2 way double dimmer from Homebase to replace a 2 way double switch (Switches 1A & 1B). Switch 1A controls one light fitting with no other switch. Switch 1B controls another light fitting with a second 2way switch(2) at the other end of the room.
Current wiring configuration:
Cable one: Red - COM1, Blue - L1 (Switch 1A), Yellow - L2(Switch 1B)
Bridge cable from COM 1(Switch 1A) to L1(Switch 1B)
Cable two: Red - COM2, Blue - L1 (Switch 1B with the bridge cable), Yellow - L2(Switch 1B with yellow from Switch one)
Switch 2 has: Red - COM, Blue - L1, Yellow - L2.
The dimmer has connections as follows: Switch 1A - L, Sw, Swiggly line with Arrow. The same on Switch 1B
So, I assumed L = COM, Sw = L1, Swiggly = L2 and wired away.
Switch 1A worked fine, but Switch 1B no joy.
Any ideas?
