2 way light swich cable

Can anyone please tell me if it is ok to use 1.0mm 4 core cable on a 2 way light switch circuit when the rest of the lighting ring is of 1.5mm cable? Please keep it simple as I am not an electrician.

if you mean 3 core (yellow, blue, red and earth) then YES

Sure is good buddy, the 1.5 is used for your ring and you drop down to 1.0 for the switching as its easier to handle /hide/bend/sweat and curse at when it gets caught up.
Ignore this though if your house controls Blackpool illuminations !!
