2 way light switch

I am trying to replace my one way light switch and mistakenly have bought a 2 way light switch. Can I use this?

yes just use C and L1

Thanks Fireman 22 but does the live or nuetral wire go into the common. The box is already earthed.

no both cables are live you should mark black cable with some red tape.
it doesnt matter which goes where.

Sorry but Breezer has confused me now. Do I put the black (neutral) wire into the common connector and the red (live) into 1way connector.

I would suggest you read fireman22's post agin, neither is a neutral

just put them into a terminal, it doesnt matter which, you arent going to damage anything or blow anything up. If you get it wrong, try another combination. isnt it a bit hard wiring lights at 9:30pm?
