Hey guys,

I'm trying to replace the factory fitted radio on my 2001 Honda Accord 2.0 but having trouble getting the thing out!

It looks as if it needs a dashboard panel to be taken off, as there is no way to remove the frame/front of the radio without this.

I took the screws out the top of the panel, but the bottom seems attached in some way which I can't discover.

Tried YouTube but no 2001 Accords on there seem to match mine!

Will attach some photos in a minute..

Josh

That instrument surround will come off to reveal screws around the radio, there will be the screws on the surround you can see along the top and probably one or two hidden somewhere else but i couldnt tell you where. Quite possibly they will be behind a vent or switches, when they have been removed the surround will be held firm with clips along the bottom edge and may require a flat removal tool or similar to pop it out.
