2013 Vauxhall Astra

Evening.
I have one of the above and the engine cooling fan runs constantly when the engine is running.
The local garage have changed the thermostat sensor ( which apparently is a common problem } but still the same.
Any ideas what else it could be ?

Have you tested the new sensor? It’s not unknown for new ones to be faulty.

I seem to recall there may be 2 sensors on these ?

Petrol engine?

could be cooling fan relay (contacts stuck closed) try swopping with a donor one to confirm

The fan is ECU controlled, and will share requirements with the A/C - which could give more diagnostic problems.
