It is not a C&G requirement.
If you do a 2391 'cramming' course, it lasts 4 days.
IIRC on day 3 you do the theory exam and then the practical the next day.
Your brain hurts after that!

I did the 2391 in 4 1/2 days.
Written exam on afternoon of 4th day and practical on following morning..
then 3 months wait for the results/certificate
