Twenty five years ago yesterday 56 people tragically died at Valley Parade, Bradford and many more suffered from horrendous burns.
I have a great many friends in the Bradford area, some were at the game againts Lincoln City, some never came back.
Bradford university, is now one of the forerunners in special care for burn victims and reconstructive plastic surgery.
So may I take this opportunity to remember those who died, their memory will live on, and also praise the consultants, doctors, nurses and staff in the local hospitals that helped out on that fatal weekend.
