28mm Pump gate valve. Which type is better/best...

Which types better.....? Going to fit a spirotech and thought while draining down the system i may as well upgrade the ball valve as its gone crusty due to limescale.

Any experiences on both?

Second choice for me, ball type tend to leak if not turned off for a while,

Second choice for me too

Ball versions are useless. Mucky water plus tight fitting ball twist valve is a leak waiting to happen, only takes a little dirt to become trapped.
