3 Port Valve Testing

Hi,

I believe that my old Honeywell 3 port valve is faulty and is not opening up to allow just CH when the HW has been satisfied.

I've picked up a cheap Sunvic momo 3 port and just wanted to test it works ok before fully installing. Can I just wire it in to the box as instructed and then test that the valve moves as it should when CH & HW are called for by the programmer? Could this cause any problems or is it straight forward?

momo's dont work the same, might be a bit involved to change.

Thats MOMC motor open/motor close.Why not use Honewell as a replacement.
