3 red wire switch change

Hi I want to change my light switch for a new one but obviously totally didn't. My old one has 1 red wire to common and 2 red wires to another terminal do I just wire my new one up the same 1 red wire to com and 2 red wires to number 1 on switch thanks in advance

does your old switch have three terminals in a triangle, one at the top and two at the bottom?

Did the bottom two go into the same terminal, or into different terminals? Do you know which wire goes where?

Is this two-way switching, where the same lights are controlled by two (or more) switches, for example on stairs, or at each end of a long room?

How many lamps are controlled by this one switch?

Yes.
Assuming the first photo is the origial wiring, as long as you keep the wires that were together, together, and the ones that were separate separate, it will work. And yes use COM and L1 on the new switch.

Reconnect your new switch the same as your existing, single red should go to C (common) and the two reds together will go to L1 if your new switch is an identical 1 gang 1 way or if your new switch is a 1 gang 2 way as that's all they had in the shop then the two reds together will either go together into L1 or together into L2, if the switch then switches upside down ie. switch rocker top in when the light is on you'll have to swap the two reds together into the opposite L1 or L2 connection... might be an idea to try the switch when you've connected the new one but prior to screwing it back to the wall... you could be lazy too and just turn it upside down... I didn't say that though.

Now the next one lol . I need to change a 2 way in hallway but has 2 red com wires and 3 at the bottom 1 red 1 black 1 red any help be great in wiring this one to new switches will add pics . Thanks again David

Calling it top and bottom is the problem.
The two COMs are not at the top anyway.

It is two triangles; one of which is upside down.

Your new switch also has two triangles but they are both the same way up.

Mark the wires before disconnecting and then connect the same allowing for one switch being the other way up.

So each switch has three terminals, but the left hand switch only uses two. Those are the com and L1 on the new switch.
The other switch all 3 are used, the one at the top needs to go to com and the other two to 1 and 2. Either way round for 1 and 2 will work, just the switch will work the opposite way round.

Looking at the closer triangle in EFL's diagram, the top will go into Common, the 2 below will go into L1 and L2 opposite this Common. These are your two-way switching wires.
The 2 other wires in the further triangle will simply go into the other Common and either L1 or L2. Try to put the wires originally in Common into the new Common, this will help if you or anyone else has to do some work in the future.
