Hi, I've just come across a glowy 30cxi which is cutting out on the hot water. Couple on months old it runs the hot water up to temp then cuts off with an F14 fault code then comes back on and up to temp again and keeps going like that in 30 second cycles. Ordered up a new dhw thermistor as it was slightly out of range but then saw another with a different problem this afternoon and checked the dhw thermistor resistance and it was the same. Anyone ever come across this problem before?

Nobody ever come across this?. Anyone know if a low working pressure could cause this problem, I have a working pressure of 15mb which I'm going to get transco on tomorrow but I'm not sure it's my cause. The burner will fire at high rate on hot water then drop to low rate a couple of times, then the fan will spin full rate but no ignition will take place and the water will run cold for 10 seconds, then it will run through that complete cycle again. Glowworm technical help are there usual pointless waste of time.

I think i had something similar . It turned out to be a load of debris /sludge caught in the plate to plate . The boiler had been fit to an existing system and had not been flushed. I took the plate to plate off and flushed it through under a tap and it sorted the problem ( the system was then flushed after ).

come across f14 many times it will be blocked/partially blocked plate to plate not letting heat out manual says above 95 degs on flow which when you think about it is whats happening

Spot on guys, went back this morning with a clear head and the dhw hx was scalding hot and cutting off at 95 deg, just didn't expect it to be so bad after 3 months
