I am fitting a new bathroom and plumbing in a 3bar salamander house pump.

Is it ok to connect the pumped feed to the toilet.

The pump manual shows its ok if the toilet is fitted with an equilibrium ball valve. Not sure what one of those is.

I have a single flush cistern and S frame from bathstore.com for the toilet.

Also.. I would like to connect the bath sink tap to mains water. We have a crosswater mixer. Would it be ok to connect mains water for cold and the 3 bar hot feed from the pump or should i use the pumped feed for both?

Idealy I only want to run one pipe for the sink and toilet.. so its both pumped or both mains.

Cheers
Amit

Not if you want a quite life it isn't.

Worse thing you will every do, as the pump will cycle on off etc all the time its filling..

yes connect the basin and wc to the mains, fit a non return valve on the cold mains to prevent backflow

Put a non return valve on the hw supply to the basin too, to prevent the mains pushing the hw back up the pipe.
