3x2 C24 Timber equivalent strength in steel?

What size steel angle or box would I need to get strength equal to that of 3x2 C24 Timber?

Too vague.

Depends on whether it is a beam or post; the end fixity and slenderness if it is a post, or the span if it is a beam; the load you are supporting; the maximum deflection you are prepared to accept etc etc.

Thanks for the reply, it's beam. Say a span of 2m, I'm just wondering what would give the same properties as 3x2 C24 timber but in steel
