400 x700 rad required

Hi all
anyone know where I can get a 400 wide by 700 rad from, without the fins on the back, I think that its an unusual size, Stelrad have discon some time ago

Just why dont you want one with fins?

Is it to take towels?

There are some pipes running behind the rad from the wash basin, don't fancy burying them in the wall. Otherewise I don't have a problem with fins, the girlfriend has some lovely ones.

If the pipes are vertical you can place them between the fins.

If horizontal then the brackets will be in the way anyway.

The fins are not sacrosanct ! You can cut or notch them with an angle grinder.

Ok point taken Tony.
The pipes run horizontally just inder the top bracket at the moment, it would just be easier to get a 700 high rad.

purmo do a 400 wide x 720mm high single panel with convector fins, (code 720411) like other posts i don't see the relevance of the fins to the pipes, it is always the bracket that will cause the prob, the face of the fins or the back of the rad will always be off the wall due to the bracket
