for a single sink

no -just a piece of 40mm pipe comming down from the sink then a bottle trap then the pipe goes through the wall to the drain.

its been repaired once and has started leaking so i thought simple job just change it how wrong was i ?

if its leaking just change the rubber seals thats the only part that wears.

or buy an adjustable bottle trap and take the top part out and use your existing pipe in its place.
