The cables appear to be in the right places. Does the shower work ok?
Perhaps the neon light wire has pulled out.

PS. Be very careful, there appears to be bare copper where the insulation has been shaved on the red cable top right. That will be the full monty 230v if you put your pinky on that!

shower works fine just the light i am sure it worked before i played around should the load not have red and black instead of two blacks.. thanks for yor help

ahh okay you think the light is burst should i change it ?

I don't know. I cannot see a light nor wires for it.

What is that red bit at the bottom of the picture?

it looks like a button but its part of the light casing. i think the bulb might have went on it cant see any other reason why its not working?

Yes, most likely the light connection has pulled out. They are very small wires. Need a photo from the LOAD side of the switch and perhaps we can see the problem.

Can just make out the old MK logo. I'll see if I have an old one, and compare it. Might see if there are visible wires to the neon.

thanks for your help just decided to get a new one and it works fine :)
