Hi,

Having bathroom tiles 30cm by 60cm done and was wondering what the best stagger would be.

We have just had the ensuite done and the box actually said 33% stagger.

These other tiles don't suggest anything.

Don't mind the look of either but wondering what the norm is?

These are the tiles.

in your ref pic you see level and plumb grout lines - thats the traditional way, and probably best suits your tile size.
why give yourself possible difficulties with staggered tile? with such a large tile in probably a small space.

50% vertical or horizontal is the professional way - but tile setting has its own ways of presenting you with possible for a DIY'er difficult decisions about cuts.

Lay the tiles out on the floor then look at the effect. We did a brick bond style bit of tiling with large format tiles for a kitchen splashback and, in our case, we liked thirds. It did make the cuts a lot more complex though.

This might be one of those things that's 'easier' as a DIYer as your time is less valuable and you don't know how much extra time you're wasting.
