Hi,

Just a quick one, I have ran in a 50mm waste pipe and due to the route (I had literally no other options) it has come out of the building very low down and will run into an existing drain. I had to smash the old concrete step out you can see where it was, the garden is being done anyway but I imagine another concrete step will be cast. So the 50mm pipe would end up being encased in concrete, tried to have a look at an underground rated 50mm pipe but not come up with much. Does this sound okay any issues with this plan? I suppose its not ideal but cannot really see what harm the pipe would come to being encased in concrete?

Or slide a piece of 100mm over it before concrete. It will make things a lot easier in the future should you need to replace it or clear a blockage.

I would just put some heating insulating foam over it to take up any stresses after the concrete is poured.

I would also build up the step with rendered brick as that would so much easier.

Cheers guys good advice here will get it protected with something so its not directly taking weight!
