5m x 1m area for Artificial grass

Hi ive removed the stump (hedges were here before) I was going to get someone to relay the driveway upto the hedges but budget cant stretch. instead ive bought a 5mx 1m artificial grass offcut, for a small area would you still MOT type 1 and then sand it and wacker plate it all down? or just go with MOT type 1? I was going to dig it out to get the grass level with the edging bricks
