6 more long weeks of winter

Jeez, the birds really don't like the person hitting that bag.
I put the decking there thinking nowt grows under the trees in any case and it was a good idea at the time. I'm regretting it because of the birds fouling it and it serves little purpose. I might have to rethink that zone, but I don't know what yet....

We did a job for a lady a few years back, whereby she had a corner plot along with 60m of hedge!

She paid £25'000 for us to rip out the hedge and build her a wall. I fully get that. I also get why people would prefer the hedge.

Hey, Nosey! With skills like that, Don really needs your help over in southern US.

Also, you any good with a drill, baby?

:ROFLMAO:

Apart from the maintenance aspect, they have major plus points IMO:

- they look better than walls
- hedgehogs can pass through them, and birdies live in them
- you can string Christmas lights through them
- if established, and properly shaped and with a little bit of looking-after, they don't fall down in a strong wind (like fence panels do).
One of my neighbours must be an ex engineer. His hedge is the straightest I’ve ever seen. The next door shapes.

Mine, well I’m always busy…
