HI, SOME OF OUR 60'S MARLEY TILES (UNDER CARPET) ARE CRACKED AND I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF. GIVEN THE ASBETOS CONTENT, THIS IS A DANGER WHEN THE TILES ARE HEATED BY THE UNDERFLOOR HEATING. THANKS IN HOPE OF A RESPONSE!

When you say cracked, how bad are they...

You could put a latex based slc over them..follow mfr guidance on prep..primer ect...

The substrate I take is concrete,so with elect ufh you may want to use an insulation board to help with the heat up time, they come in thickness from 6mm up 80-mm thick,so the thicker you can use the better.

Marley tiles....if you need to remove...PPE is essential and you need to bag seal ect and you just can't dump them in a skip, your local authority will dispose for you...
