Just a quick one chaps,

I'm getting stuck into my bathroom now and noticed that the previous owner has earth bonded the pipes etc. They have used 6mm cable, i was under the impresssion in had to be 4mm. Does it need replacing or is it ok as it is?

Cheers

Tom

No problem at all with using bigger, 4mm² is the minimum if not mechancially protected, the maximum is only defined by the bounds of common sense and the ability to terminate it in the clamps

Visions of supplementary bonding done in 35mm......errs on the side of safety
