6mm plasterboard

does anyone know a builders merchant or barn that sells standard 6mm board cos i cnt find it anywhere the only one i have found is GLASROC FLAMELINE 2400X600X6MM and its too much money to spend on repairing a small patch in a ceilin

cant you just use normal board? fix the hole like so:

but put shims between the ceiling and the timbers so that when you stick your thicker board in and fix it to the timbers it will come flush with the old ceiling.

the ceilin is 6mm board hence i want 6mm board and yes i was goin to fix it like that anyway i just cnt find this board anywhere none of my usuall builders merchants stock it

but if you shim the timbers up enough you'll fit 9 or 12mm board in there and won't need 6mm board, saves you finding and buying a whole sheet if it then.
