Anyone remember the old 70s taps with the long spout with 4 lugs on them that you had to turn to open the tap.
I will take a pic and put them in this post.

Anyone know what tghey were called? They looked like a horses head! :D
 
I remember them....Haven't a clue what they were called though... Sorry
 
Hi do you mean Supa taps, the ones which had a shut off valve so you could change the washer without turning off the water supply?.
 
waterworks is spot on they are definately supataps, i remember fitting hundreds of them on refurb contracts you could change the washer by turning the tap fully on then loosening the head and turning further on to remove the head which contained the small washer in a housing
