i have done all the prep work and am a bit worried that the screed will be too thin. this is what i have done.

1) dug out kitchen and leveled with a 2" screed

2) laid visquene layer and then 75mm of celotex boards.

3) i have taped the boards

As you walk over them there is a definite amount of movement due to the visquene layer. i laid the boards initially without the visquene layer and there wasnt as much movement.

Will the 75mm screed push these boards fully flat?

anyone got any experience of laying a screed onto kingspan type stuff. i dont want it to sound hollow

I did some ufh twice last year and what your doing sounds fine, the builder i worked for screeded floor, then insulation ,taped up then 65 mm on top of pipes and it was all fine

Sounds good so far, jounts taped, screed depth ok.

Have you used the insulating strips round the edge of your celotex/kingspan (stops heat travelling out through your walls etc).
