75mm x 200mm, 4.8m span floor joists

Hi all. Was hoping for some advice.

Had new loft plans done and the floor joists that have been recommended are

c24
75mm x 200mm
With a span of 4800mm at 400mm distance.

Those joists seem huge (thickness wise)

Are these too big or is that size needed to span the 4.8 meters between the steel beams?
