90/100 Lintel

Hi, Apologies for the daft question but I just wondered what the difference is between the CGE90/100 Catnic Lintel and the Birtleys variety. Apart from price?

I've been quoted £60 more for the Catnic

Structurally probably the same, though if the Birtley is galvanised that could be a clue to the price difference.

Catnic lintels have a 2-coat process, which avoids having to put a flexible dpc over the lintel. In contrast, all galvanised lintels have to have a dpc put over them, otherwise they eventually corrode.
