A few very simple tiling questions

I’m going to be tiling my cloakroom and just have a few questions that when searching I get conflicting information. I’ve bough Mapei Keraflex Max S1 adhesive and Mapei Primer G for the job. Please see the questions below:

1. Do I need to use the primer on bare plasterboard? A reply from Mapei on a Screwfix QA seems to suggest I don’t, but I’ve read elsewhere that I should.

2. The plasterboard has a slight curve (3-4mm at the worst point) on it so I was planning to add a bit of adhesive before tiling to level it out. Should I prime the dried out adhesive after with the primer g before tiling?

I've always primed plasterboard.
Tiles stick well to primer so if in doubt prime surface...
Not my area although I've fitted tiles. You can always call Mapei technical on phone

Thanks for the advice. I gave them a call and they said for plasterboard you don’t need to prime but it won’t be detrimental to do so. I also don’t need to prime over the adhesive but doing so would even out the drying time.

Im going to prime it all just to be safe.
