Hi all, new on here.
I wonder if anyone can help me, I have a small hole in the 15mm copper tube leading from the cold water supply of my Kitchen sink.
I have turned off the water supply and have got a chap coming over Sunday lunchtime.
The problem is, I have two small children, so is there anyway that I could do something to plug the leak so I can put the water back on?
Many thaks in advance, .... Godsend of a site this.

Cheers, Looby.

that will be in about 12 hours, so by the time you get something it may be too late, but you could try a jubilee clip and a cloth.

but you may as well get a compression joint , pipe cutter and do the job your self

or you may want to get one of these

Dry it (maybe letting water out through garden tap, put some silicone over it and a self tapping screw IN it. Leave the silicone to set.

Sorry. probably a bit late in the day, but I was thinking along the lines of a self tapping screw too, but wrap it in PTFE tape if you've got any lying around. Just make sure you wrap it in the right direction so screwing it in pulls it in. ie anti clockwise as you'll tighten the screw clockwise.
