Hi just had our Baxi WM 50/4 serviced, all okay nothing major just had the part replaced that ignites, old part abit worn. Has been running for a week absolutely fine and now a new problem grrrr.

It seems there could be a problem with the programmer. When left on auto it seems to stop working - CH & HW set to come on, the boiler comes on but nothing happens if that makes senses - no hot water/heat. It works one day then the next it doesn't. If you put on continous or once etc it still doesn't work. The settings on the programmer light up when pressed but no heat, no water.

Hope that makes sense, a little fed up as we are putting house on market and need this resolved. Our gas engineer corgi man says he will buy a new programmer unit and if that doesn't work then????

Thanks
LN

Could be 3 port valve if you have one.

If you are comfortable with electrics try removing switched live (and make safe) and link permanent live to switched live. If boiler fires up ok then definatley an external contol problem. If it still fails then boiler problem ;)
