ABS warning light has appeared and is staying on. What could be the cause and can I rectify the problem myself?
It means a fault has been detected by the ABS. Quite often it is a problem with a wheel sensor - some diagnostic tools can tell from the control unit which sensor it is, otherwise it is a case of connecting each sensor in turn to an oscilloscope and seeing if there is a signal there when the wheels are spun.
