I have an Accenta 6 house alarm with a Accenta 8EP416 key pad.
I changed the key pad to Accenta 8EP416+.
The key pad will not power up i.e. no green power switch light.
I change back to the original key pad and that also will not power up.
Any ideas?

thanks

You did all this 'live' didn't you?

There is now a blown fuse in the control panel.

ONLY replace like with like.

Hi thanks for the reply -but no the system was turned off at the consumer box.

When the pad was removed I did think it was strange the tamper alarm did not go off -do you think the problem could be with the battery?
Would this stop the 'day/power on' light from not being lit on initial switch on?
Do you think it still think the problem is the fuse?

Did you remove the the battery as well?

If not it was still 'live' - as I said, blown fuse.

Also sounds as though you may need a new battery.
