Accenta alarm

Hi been fitting a new alarm , all cabled and wired but when I connect the battery and enter the code I can’t clear the tamper warning. I’ve disconnected all zones and bell box but it still tampers. Any ideas

The tamper circuit terminals need to be a short circuit so a bit of wire between them and the cover replaced to clear the tamper.

When you wire on the sensors you must ensure you have a continuous loop of wire leaving the panel through the sensors and back. Put panel and sensor fronts on and tamper should clear

Yes did that but still there, am thinking of taking it back and swapping for another.

If you can put battery. Mains . Panel cover on and a short in the tamper and also ensure the zones have their resistors in that are used with the cover on and do a reset and it still tampers then I would have thought it was faulty..

Post a picture of the wiring inside the box, and we'll see if we can spot anything obvious. Trust me, if you can't get this one sorted, then you'll have even more problems with the others.
