Accenta G3 No chime through extension 16ohm speaker?

Hi all ,

just been to see a friends shop alarm , he has new door fitted , he previously had a bell to alert him to a customer whilst in the back, he has new pvc so he doesn't want this back up, he has a d/c on the door set to chime , but this only comes through the keypad?, i though the extension speaker mimicked all sound made by the keypad and panel? The accenta g4 does this a swell as most alarms , any ideas?

Good quest.
From what I can see and have just tried on my test G4 is that the "internal sounder" is the RKP speaker. The Extension Speaker is the 16 ohm one for entry exit and alarms.

So no I`m afraid.
Was a quick test, not going into the garden workshop again tonight. Can check again tomorrow.

No probs, noticed the chime comes through the 16 ohm extension speaker when it has an open tamper loop, but when cleared it doesn't
