all wired, but wont set unless i omit the unused zones. So my question is should those unused zones 4 to 8 be looped out in the board like a fire alarm system? any help appreciated.

Similar problem - currently installing my G4. I have not used all zones available. Can you advise how you solved this problem?

Either link out, or go to programmes select P1,P2 or P3 and then deselect the zones not wanted in the particular programme.

Using the programming method is the best.
