accenta g4 - inhibit zone setup

hi i have used zone1 for door contacts and then zone 2 for a pir covering
the keypad and front door. i want zone2 as a inhibit zone do i need to set it as. a timed zone and inhibit zone?

do i need to set zone 1 as anything[/code]

Have you tested the operation? What happens?

I believe the panel comes default for the front door programmed and Timed and Zone 2 programmed as Timed/Inhibit in all programs, which should be correct for what you describe.

Should imagine the G4 is not far of the G3. If so, zone 1 timed and zone 2 time inhibit as factory default, maybe he should check is entry exit time Alarm Man, just a thought !!!

It could also possibly be due to the possibility that a door contact should be fitted to the exit/entry door, just a thought !!!

Need to scrap this post, just read that door contacts are part of the system anyway.
