Just fitted Accenta MIni Gen 4 with LCD keypad. Front door (entry/exit) zone 1 lounge (2 pir's wired in series's, inhibited) zone 2 kitchen zone 4 landing zone 5 zones 3 6 7 & 8 unused used engineers code (9999) to set zones managers code users code & default code. Tried to set alarm, keypad showed tamper lockout fault, spring in keypad too short now ok, can not get back into engineers code? thinking of power down & disconnect battery then reconnect hope this resets engineers code? if this does not work thinking of default panel to factory settings or should I do something else?

yes have the manual set zones etc with the engineers code (9999) then tried setting alarm in users code got tamper fault solved that but can not get back into engineers code keypad does not recognise the code?

Unless you got lost in the menus and changed the code. Then you are not following the correct procedure to enter "engineering".

Accenta still lock out when theirs a tamper on system? Been ages since I used one. Clear any tampers and you may find keypad comes back to life.

thanks for your help I think this idiot (me) needs to read the the manual correctly sorry for wasting your time but thanks again for the help
