Hi,
I have a patio with ACO drainage for the water run off as the soil all around is clay and when it rains the area drains very poorly.
My issue is trying to extend the ACO down the length of the house (we're laying a path anyway) to the down pipe of the guttering (Easiest option). I was hoping to just put a junction on the down pipe and all would be good. After digging I've found the pipe doesn't go far enough down (String line on the pictures would be the top of the ACO/floor level) to put the junction in and instead feeds into what i assume must the main waste pipe (glazed clay thingy).
Any ideas what I could do?

I think you’d have to dig out the gulley and cut the salt glazed/earthenware and replace with a suitable gulley (probably a back inlet).

Easy ,drill the pot with a few holes and tap through.
Acco to drain hole ,make good with cement.

If you have a grinder ,simply cut out a 50-60mm hole

A typical driveway I used to do on a weekly basis.
Hopefully you get the idea .
Acco to existing drain .

I know I know , I was fooking good:ROFLMAO: but retirement is better..;)
